Privacy Policy
How we handle your data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

Email: [email protected]
2. Overview
We take the protection of your personal data seriously. This website is designed to collect as little personal data as possible. We do not use tracking cookies, we do not use advertising networks, and we do not build user profiles.
3. What data we collect
Server logs
When you visit this website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically collects certain technical information. This may include:
- IP address (truncated or anonymized where possible)
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Date and time of access
- Pages visited
This data is used solely for technical operation, security, and error analysis. It is not combined with other data sources and is not used to identify individual users.
Newsletter and report download
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. We use this address only to send you the newsletter and the reports you requested. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
We use double opt-in. After you enter your email address, you receive a confirmation email. Your address is added to our list only after you click the link in that email. Without confirmation we send you nothing, and unconfirmed addresses are not kept. The confirmation link leads back to this website, where the report download is available.
The newsletter is operated via Buttondown, which acts as a data processor on our behalf. Your email address is stored on Buttondown's servers and is not shared with third parties. The legal basis for this processing is your consent (Art. 6 (1) a GDPR).
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It works without cookies, does not fingerprint devices, and does not create user profiles. It counts page views and referrers in aggregate only, so we cannot identify individual visitors.
Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we store your email address and the content of your message to process your request. We do not share this data with third parties.
4. What we do not do
- We do not use tracking cookies.
- We do not use advertising networks.

5. Hosting
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. Cloudflare processes technical data (such as IP addresses) as part of providing the hosting service. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. For more information, see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access: you can request information about the data we hold about you.
